JANUARY BOARD MEETING
The Silver Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc. will be having its January board meeting on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Douglass Community Center at 405 East Market Street. Beginning February, meetings will be on the second Wednesday of each month at the Douglass Community Center for the next 6 months. The schedule will be distributed at the January meeting and posted here on the website after the January meeting. We currently have the Child Care Room (the building to the right after you pass the office on the left).
Important Notice When Selling Your Home
When selling your home, as the registered owner, you are reminded that you are responsible for the following:
·Seller is responsible for the POAA pack ($100.00 check made payable to Silver Oaks HOA)
·Seller is responsible for current portion of and any past due Home Owners Association (HOA) dues. (check made payable to Silver Oaks HOA)
·Buyer is responsible for the current transfer fee ($25.00) to be paid at settlement (check made payable to Silver Oaks HOA)
·Buyer is responsible for their portion of the current year HOA fees to be paid at settlement. (check made payable to Silver Oaks HOA)
Changes/Improvements to the Exterior of your Home
All exterior changes/improvements must be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
In some cases Town and/or County permits may be required.
If you are planning any of the following please note that permits are required:
·replacing an existing porch or deck
·changing a window to a door
·a retaining wall
·a garage
